World record set by a Nigerian woman for largest Heroin ever swallowed

All has ended for a 52year old Nigerian woman; Bola Adebisi whose dream is a mercedes, house in lekki and owambe parties, when she was caught at Washinton Airport, having swallowed heroin ever recorded in world history. She was said to have ingested an incredible 180 thumb-sized pellets filled with heroin, while the previous record was four pounds of heroin ingested in 100 pellets.
According to International Business Times, Adebisi broke a previous record for ingested drugs set on March 30, 2011, by another Nigerian man,
Airport officers became suspicious when she was questioned after arriving on  Ethiopian Airlines flight 500 from Adis Ababa. Adebisi claimed she was visiting her brother in the U.S., but she was unable give details of her “brother” and his address. A routine pat-down showed that her belly was suspiciously rigid, and an X-ray revealed to astonished officials that she had in her stomach 180 thumb-sized pellets with a total weight of five pounds.

Christopher Hess, director of Customs and Border Patrol for Washington D.C. said: “The amount of pellets and heroin this woman ingested is incredible, a serious health risk, and very troubling if these numbers become the new normal.”

Adebisi, according to MSNBC, will be prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia.

From ‘Mohits’ to ‘Mavin’ records by the master himself Don Jazzy

This is surely a rebirth and an homely idea from the master himself; Don Jazzy. He has finally changed Mohits; a record label owned by him and Dbanj to ‘Mavin Records’ in order to mark a new rebirth. Under this record label are A-list artiste like Wande Coal, D Prince, Tiwa Savage, and Dr. Sid. Don Jazzy speaks of his goodwill message to all his fans.

Don Jazzy’s message
I see Mavin Records being the power house of Music in Africa in the shortest possible time. I know Rome wasn’t built in a day but with a lot of hard work, a good and God fearing team, our friends and fans, TV houses, radio stations, press, bloggers and most of all with God on our side, there is nothing we cannot achieve.
I definitely won’t forget my past because I wouldn’t be where I am today without it. I know there are questions unanswered, mysteries unsolved, wounds to heal but I would really appreciate if we allow time to heal the wounds for us all instead of digging them up again.
I love and respect the press and bloggers a lot and believe they will play a major role in healing our wounds and allow the forward movement. I would love to thank everyone that contributed in making Mohits records as successful as it got. We wouldn’t have done it without you all. The love and support you have given us thus far is definitely not in vain.  You all helped create international superstars and none of us will let you down.
It is going to be a very exciting journey from here. I can’t wait to show you guys all we have planned for you all. We have some other Mavins that are not activated yet still under construction that I’m positive you are going to love. Please open up your hearts, lend us your ears, give us your love and support as always and let’s continue to entertain you. Please don’t forget to visit. and join the fan club “MAVIN LEAGUE” for exclusive news, music and gifts.
“Don’t just be amazing at what you do, be a MAVIN at it” – IDJA

Mavin Records is set to release a compilation album titled ‘Solar Plexus’ tomorow 8th May 2012 starring all Mavin stars. Check the webiste, for more details. Sure you all can’t wait to hear what this new record label has got to offer to her fans. Till then, keep your fingers crossed.
